Summer Police Officers –Town of Jackson, Wyoming. Live in Jackson Hole for six months for FREE! Limited term positions available for 6 months, June through November, extension options available, flexible schedule. $25.00/hour plus shift differential for airport duties. The Town of Jackson is accepting applications from lateral applicants to fill 5 positions for this limited term. The Police Department is seeking experienced, motivated, and value-centered individuals with proven law enforcement skills to join our law enforcement team for the summer and fall of 2018. Jackson is an active year-round resort Town and the Department has a community oriented policing approach. Primary duties include public service and protection through a variety of methods including law enforcement, crime investigation and prevention, patrol, call response, initiative and discretion, and apprehension. Minimum qualifications for these limited term positions includes US citizenship, 21 years of age, possession of a valid driver's license, law enforcement experience (preferably in Wyoming) and POST certification. Applicants completely fluent in Spanish receive an additional $350/month stipend. The ideal candidate will also possess experience in patrol procedures and tactics, investigations, special assignment work, a positive and energetic outlook, as well as excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
