Combat Fitness

This developmental course is for use of force and physical fitness instructors who want to maximize their physical abilities along with the people they train. The course will focus on short term, high intensity power development, with an emphasis on anaerobic metabolism and motor skills training. Various conditioning methods including interval and circuit training as well as upper and lower body plyometric drills will be presented as adjuncts to basic conditioning. The students will then tailor these concepts and exercises to their own specific use of force systems, thereby, successfully integrating the physical training techniques.
