We are now accepting registrations for the 131st session of the Law Enforcement Administrator's Conference in Bandera, Texas. Space is limited, so please register early. 8/3/2009    FREE Rapid Response to Active Shooter Class

The Burleson Police Department S.W.A.T. team is offering this 16 hour training=2 0program that combines lecture with practical exercises.  An active shooter is defined as a person or persons who participate in a shooting spree with the intent of causing serious physical injury or death. In most cases some type of firearm is used, however, the subject may use any weapon that may be available. An Active Shooter incident can easily occur at schools, playgrounds and businesses.
