SFST-Standardized Field Sobriety Practitioners Update
This ONE day course is designed to reacquaint and update law enforcement officers in the process of identifying and apprehending the impaired driver. The student will demonstrate proficiency in the standardized field sobriety test (SFST) battery. Emphasis will be placed on: 1) recognizing impairment associated with drug use; 2) defining "drug" as it relates to highway safety; and 3) identifying the seven drug categories. The student will develop skills in documenting the impaired driving arrest.
